SAN/NIHC Conference dinner
Dear SAN2014 visitor,
It is our great pleasure to invite you to a unique conference dinner experience at the SAN2014 conference, which will be held on Friday, January 31, at 6:30 PM. It will be situated among parts of the NASA space exhibition and includes a tour along this exhibition. During the event there will be a keynote presentation by prof. Guy Cheron, Director of the Laboratory of Neurophysiology and Movement Biomechanics (LNMB) of the Université Libre de Bruxelles. The title of the presentation is: “Brain rhythms and evoked activites in weightlessness: NeuroCog and Neurospat experiments”.
Professor Cheron was one of the coordinators of the Neurospat experiment about the effect of gravitational context on brain function (EEG) and cognition. It was conducted in space at the International Space Station, one of the subjects being Dutch astronaut André Kuipers. During this dinner you will hence learn more about applied neuroscience in space! Furthermore, during the conference dinner there will be the presentation of the Evans Foundation Science prize 2013.
