Oral Presentation Guidelines

SAN 2016 oral presentations are organized within the  parallel sessions scheduled in the conference program.

​​Please note that the duration given to your oral presentation includes 3 minutes for questions and discussion, therefore if a 20-minute talk is planned, that should be 17 minutes of presentation and 3 minutes of discussion. Duration varies slightly depending on the number of scheduled presentations per session. Authors with an oral presentation can check the appearance of their talk at the conference secretariat.

A dedicated notebook will be available for uploading and checking the presentations, while a member of the secretariat personnel will be present to assist you. Please note that only USB flash drives can be used to upload your presentation. If you are unable to bring a usb stick, then please contact the conference secretariat (​​This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) to send your presentation via e-mail.

Please note that authors of oral presentations are kindly asked to upload their presentation at least one time block before their talk is arranged. For example, if your presentation is scheduled for presentation during the second morning time block, you should upload your presentation at least until the first morning time block. Poster Presentation Guidelines ​

The SAN2016 poster presentations are organized within three sessions ​on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 /10​. All authors with a poster presentation will be given a unique id with information on the display time of presentation.

For poster presentations, upon arrival at the conference site, you can find the poster stand where you should set-up your poster with its id.

​Below you will find detailed instructions on when you should set-up and when you should take off your poster depending on the session that your poster is scheduled to be presented.

The Poster Sessions will be held in ​Korkyra B of the ​Imperial Corfu Hotel which is next to the Coffee Break islands, therefore even during coffee break you will be able to interact with the rest of the participants on your work.

Double-sided boards measuring 200 cm (height) X 120 cm (width), i.e., portrait format, will be available for each author to attach their posters to. The authors are advised not to use the full space of the board, but to limit their poster size to 1 ​20 cm (height) X 90 cm (width). Double-sided tape will be provided by the organizers for mounting your poster. The boards will be numbered to correspond to the number id of your poster presentation.

Your poster will be on display for two days. Author in attendance time is set right after the last oral slot of each day. Authors are requested to mount their posters at the assigned location with the following program:

Poster Session ​A

  • ​Friday, 7/10:​Posters will be presented ​at 1​1:​00 ​-11:30, 13:30-14:30 15:45-16:15 Mounting of posters for this poster sessions will take place on ​Friday ​7, 2016 from 0​8:​15 to 10:​30. AUTHORS MUST REMOVE THEIR POSTERS BY ​Friday ​7 at ​20:00 pm. The organizers are not liable for any poster materials.

Poster Session B

        Saturday, ​8/10:​Posters will be presented ​at 1​1:​00 ​-11:30, 13:30-14:30 ​and 17:30-17:45 Mounting of posters for this poster sessions will take place on Saturday 8, 2016 from 0​8:​15 to 10:30. 
AUTHORS MUST REMOVE THEIR POSTERS BY ​Saturday 8 at 19:00 pm
    . The organizers are not liable for any poster materials.
